Jacuzzi

I had the pleasure of visiting Jacuzzi Winery last week and I think it is a must if you are ever in Sonoma, CA. The house is a replica of the Jacuzzi Family House in Italy (at least that’s what I was told). It was absolutely stunning!!

I couldn’t get enough of the beautiful doors or the wine.

Open sitting area on the backside of the beautiful mansion.

Room filled with barrels of wine. It would be a beautiful area for a party with close friends and family.

This guy making a special appearance is my brother Dominic. We were having some fun while enjoying the beautiful weather and the view.

Walking out into the field of grapes. I didn’t want to leave. The wine was super tasty. Be sure to put this winery on your list of places to go in wine country, you won’t be disappointed!

Travel – Cambridge, England

Cambridge, England is a glorious place. When we visited during the rainy season, somehow we lucked out with it being a sunny day to explore. Our family took us on a little adventure. We punted down the back side of the Universities otherwise known as “the backs”, at least that is what I was told. I was in awe of the beautiful architecture.

Above is a picture of the punts. According to the dictionary, a punt is a flat-bottom boat with a square-cut bow. It is designed for use in small rivers or shallow water. Punting is in reference to boating in a punt. The punter pushes against the river bed with a pole. We were in one punt with seven people. It was incredible!

Of course as we were floating along, our great uncle broke out champagne, glasses and crisps. He is always full of fantastic surprises! The ducks were excited about the crisps. We laughed as they snatched them out of our hands.

We can’t wait to go back and visit this gorgeous place again with the people we love. England has a special place in our heart!

Travel – Ely, England

It has been one whole year since my husband and I had the pleasure of visiting Europe. I will be sharing some of our favorite places in the next few weeks! First up, is the beautiful Ely, England. We had some amazing travel guides (lucky enough to be family) to take us around this little area and beautiful cathedral. Pictured throughout this post is the gorgeous Ely Cathedral.

Holiday lights sparkled inside the cathedral.

A merry-go-round was all the buzz outside.

The narrow streets were packed with cars. We were in awe of this beautiful place. The gloomy weather added to its beauty. The pictures don’t quite do the cathedral justice. I highly recommend if your ever in this area to stop and check it out!

All Ohio Balloon Fest- Marysville, OH

My husband and I recently went to the All Ohio Balloon Fest with some friends in Marysville, OH. It was a lot of fun. They had all kinds of food vendors and businesses that set up booths on the Union County Airport grounds. It was a little toasty outside, but we enjoyed ourselves!

They had some incredible skydivers that were flying through the air with streamers and American flags. The stage was for different musicians performing throughout the festival. LeAnn Rimes was actually there performing a few days before we went.

We enjoyed gyros from Greek Islands Gyros.

There was a vendor there with animals you could adopt. I was super fascinated with the cute sugar bears this woman was pulling out of her pockets. She had two in one pocket and a baby that was recently born in her other pocket. Of course I had a ton of questions for her. The sugar bears were so soft, I could of pet one all day. They apparently are great pets and I wanted to take one home.

You always need your essentials when going to a festival for the day.

The balloons launched around 6:30pm and they were awesome to watch!

They offered balloon rides, sky jumping, biplane rides, and helicopter rides. We didn’t do any of the rides. The day was a fun adventure for us and it was great to be outside enjoying the beautiful shapes of the balloons in the sky!
